Barry’s weekly drawing club at Blackhorse Workshop Cafe, returns for school holidays with a special session for kids of all ages.
‘Time to Draw’ is a weekly drawing session in the Blackhorse Workshop Cafe, where I set out a range of art materials and we sit and draw and chat together.
This is a very playful, improvised session, designed to be accessible to anyone at any level. Each excercise comes from suggestions in the group. There is no right or wrong way to do any of them, but we’ll all probably end up trying something new.
This special session for Half Term is designed for school age children, but everyone is welcome. As a father of a child with Down’s Syndrome I’m very open to SEN kids coming along to what will be a welcoming, non-judgemental space for all.
THIS IS NOT A DROP-OFF EVENT.
You can either get a ticket for yourself too and join in with us. Or just grab a coffee and something delicious from the cafe and sit at an other table while we get to work!
These weekly sessions are run by Barry’s Anywhere Art School, who put on creative workshops for a wide variety of groups, in hospitals, schools, museums, colleges and cafes. Each one responding directly to the potentials of the space and the needs of the group.
